My Vision

In a world where so much is going wrong, it can be easy to overlook all the places where things are going right, where people are good and where things can be made beautiful.

Creation is at the very core and essence of each of us and repeatedly calls to us, sometimes loudly, with bold exciting ideas; then sometimes quietly, with gentle thoughts and reminders as if on a passing breeze. All to bring us back into the knowledge, power and glory of being creators in and of ourselves.

This belief, this understanding, has always been within me somehow, a constant tugging of the heart to do, and to know, that all things are within myself. To have, to be, is all within my power, my choices, my direction.

And so it is, that I here embark on a new journey of sorts, a conglomeration of the beautiful and the good, all in one place, together. It is against the grain of the experts, to throw things together at will, but it is the truest reflection of what I love and really, who I am. I am not merely a simple creature to be identified by one title: the cook, the decorator, the piano teacher, the, well, whatever else. I am interested in so many things, different things and I want to share them all. Maybe that is the best way to explain it - I want to share all the parts of my mind and heart that traipses through the many different veins and beauties of life.

So as I round up those different things, those parts of me, and I tie them all together to create a wonderful collage of lifestyle and creation, I invite you to pull up a chair or to dig in and get your hands dirty alongside, and attempt to make everything around us, beautiful.
